Kelly Baltzell, President, CEO

Kelly Baltzell, M.A., President, CEOKelly Baltzell, MA is President and CEO of the Beyond Indigo family of companies, which she founded in 1997. Her roster of highly engaging veterinary, equine, and funeral industry websites reaches millions of people a year, and her technological prowess and passion have made her an unparalleled leader in Internet marketing.

A true relationship builder who works tirelessly to promote her clients and broadcast their stories to the world, Kelly speaks frequently about marketing trends and website design at national conventions. Prior to creating Beyond Indigo, she served as Site Manager for Online Psych, the mental health community of America Online, and designed customized mental health programming for the AOL Health Channel. Online Psych had up to four million page views per day and attained placement on AOL’s Welcome Screen. After Online Psych merged with iVillage.com, Kelly became Director of Interactive Health and was later promoted to Executive Director of Health. She helped generate more than 18 million page views a month for iVillage.com.

Under Kelly’s leadership, BeyondIndigo.com has become one of the country’s most popular grief support websites with more than a million annual visitors. It has been listed in Forbes Best of the Web for the past eight consecutive years. Kelly writes Healing Help brochures for Messenger, has had articles published in The Director, Caregiving Today, and Thanos, and wrote a column called Ask Kelly for YBNews from 2000 to 2008. She graduated with an International Affairs & Economics degree from George Washington University and a Master’s degree in Counseling & Psychology from St. Mary’s.


Jeanne Pelletier, Chief Technology Officer

Jeanne Pelletier, Chief Technology OfficerJeanne Pelletier is Chief Technology Officer of Beyond Indigo. She uses her diverse skills and experience to develop robust online tools that help change people’s lives. Since joining the company in 2000, she has developed a multitude of responsive, intuitive interactive web applications.

Jeanne’s background includes urban planning, human services, programming management, and database administration. Prior to joining Beyond Indigo, she was the administrator of a large public mental health system and was responsible for designing, developing, and managing programs that integrated mentally ill people into the community. She oversaw a $10 million budget and managed a staff of 35 people. She also supervised mental health system issues for Online Psych, a pioneer producer of mental health content for America Online.

She earned certificates in Web Development and Rapid Application Development from New Hampshire Community Technical College and holds a Bachelor of Science in Urban Studies.
