Judith Annet

Judith AnnetJudith has always been fascinated by computers and is thrilled to have the opportunity to combine her computer programming, Search Engine Optimization, and Web management skills with her love of animals. Her duties for Beyond Indigo include performing the QA before new websites are launched, creating Google accounts, and submitting information to other search engines. Prior to joining Beyond Indigo, she served as an activity director in retirement and nursing homes. She lives in Southern Maine and enjoys concerts, hiking, sailing, swimming, and panning for gold and native gems. She has a blue fancy rat named Libby.



Trice Atkinson, M.A.

Trice Atkinson is involved in project management and oversees Search Engine Optimization services at Beyond Indigo. She has an extensive background in educational and promotional media and has also worked as a trainer, consultant, and coach. For more than a decade, she worked for life transition and change management organizations that specialized in grief and loss consultation. An avid fan of WordPress, she’s endlessly captivated by the global reach of the Web and grapples daily with the mysteries of Google algorithms. She loves being surrounded by four-legged friends and looks forward to meeting the next cat that will own her.


Mark Clifton

Mark CliftonMark is a graphic designer who has been practicing in the areas of Web, print, identity, and type design since 1995. He graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Communication Arts + Design from Virginia Commonwealth University. His typeface designs have been featured in the books Indie Fonts and Typology: Type Design From The Victorian Era To The Digital Age. Prior to joining Beyond Indigo in 2004, he served as art director and led design teams for Richmond.com and RDC Integrated Marketing in Richmond. His mission is to bring thoughtful, innovative, boutique-level design and branding to all of his clients, regardless of size. He lives in Atlanta, and while he doesn’t have any pets at the moment, considers himself a cat person.



Marisa Donahue

As lead developer at Beyond Indigo, Marisa is responsible for tool development and enhancements and all database development. Prior to joining Beyond Indigo in 2007, she spent 15 years as a programmer for a major insurance company and several years as a freelance Web developer. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Merrimack College in North Andover, Massachusetts and an Associates Degree in Information Technology. She lives in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, with a "Sato" rescue dog from Puerto Rico named Pinto and a rescued feral cat named Mojo. She helps present guitar concerts for the Seacoast Guitar Society and is a board member for Seacoast Concert For A Cure, an annual fundraiser that benefits breast cancer survivors.

Kim Kjellberg

Kim KjellbergKim has been the bookkeeper and general go-to gal for Beyond Indigo since the spring of 2008. She has 32 years of bookkeeping and small business management experience in the landscape, real estate, insurance, property management, and sales industries. A magna cum laude graduate of St. Cloud State University, she enjoys working with new clients and navigating the ever-growing success of Beyond Indigo. She has two grown daughters, three cats, a Border Collie/Shepherd rescue dog, and 10 koi fish. She raises grapes, raspberries, and apples, and loves to flower garden, preserve foods, read mysteries, and travel.



Neil G. Larson

Neil G. LarsonNeil has been designing and developing websites since the late 90's. He graduated from the University of Rochester with degrees in digital media and music. In his spare time he produces interactive media, produces audio, occasionally performs around the Northeast with various musical acts. Neil resides on the Somersworth Hilltop with his wife & toddler son. You can listen to his music at www.drnigelaudio.com.


Vee Lee

Vee LeeVee Lee is a Web designer with more than 14 years of design experience. While studying the Multimedia Program at ITT Technical Institute, he learned a range of skills including Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, QuarkXPress, Flash, ActionScript, 3ds Max, and Maya. He also harbors a passion for Motion Graphics, Animation, and 3D Modeling.


Will Lindus

Will LindusWill Lindus is a Project Manager who got his start in the field of automobile finance. After working in the industry for six years as a customer service manager and debt collections trainer, Will is proof that it is never too late to make a fresh start. Will and his better half make their home in Copperas Cove, Texas where they care for three Australian Cattle dogs named Sybbil, Reyna and Ginger, and a Chow mix named Leopold. In his free time, Will stays actively involved in local community theatre programs. Will is proud to call Beyond Indigo home.


Allegra May

Allegra is a project manager and website builder at Beyond Indigo, and often pinch-hits as an editor. She helped develop the overall website development process and is always on the lookout for areas where improvements can be made. Prior to her 10 years of experience in web development, she honed her project management skills at Lucent Technologies. She has designed software development processes, trained engineers for ISO certification, and written a number of guides on multiuse software development and other programming methods. She enjoys doing Web development more than software development because of the color, images, and design opportunities that the Web offers. As the devoted owner of three Samoyed dogs, she has a strong affinity toward veterinarian websites.


Edward Murray

Edward MurrayAfter getting his start in the traditional magazine publishing world as a writer and editor, Ed made the jump to new media before there even was an Internet — and he’s never looked back. He has been involved in online content management, website operations, and project management for a variety of large companies, including Individual, Inc., CMGi, Cox Interactive Media, and Kudzu.com. Sixteen years later, he may be an old dog, but he’s still learning new tricks. Although he has lived and worked all over the country, he currently resides in New Hampshire with his wife and two daughters. He has had a number of pets over the years but currently spoils an orange tabby named Bob and a bearded dragon named Lizzie.



Marie Slayton

Marie SlaytonMarie, who is referred to as “Ree Ree” or “Ami” by her nieces and nephews, is a writer for Beyond Indigo. She earned a writing degree from the University of Arizona in Tucson. For a while, she lived in Los Angeles and worked for MySpace at their Beverly Hills office. She has had her worked published in a number of places and has a long history of technical and creative writing. When she’s not writing, Marie is a shopping cart tech for Beyond Indigo and has worked in almost every other aspect of the business during the past six years. She actually used to help the founder with babysitting and grocery shopping — both of which are extremely valuable. At heart, Marie is a horse lady, having started riding when she was a small girl. She has had dogs, cats, chickens, pigs, geese, fish, swans, and one big snapping turtle named George.


Karen Wentworth

After working manufacturing and manual labor jobs for 15 years, Karen pursued a career in Web design and development. Without even owning a computer, she dove headfirst into the world of cyberspace and studied every facet that she possibly could. Six years later, she has no regrets and is continuously proud to participate in the technical and social community of the Internet. She joined Beyond Indigo in 2009 as a Project Manager/Help Desk Manager. She and her other half live in New Hampshire and are surrounded by family and friends.
