Tory Bers, Brand Management Marketing Manager

In over 20 years of consumer, B2B and non-profit marketing, Tory has seen it all. Tory has been the Vice President of marketing for consumer sector and business to business companies. Her experience has seen many marketing successes including front-page placement in USA Today, appearances on the Today Show and other cable and local television programs, and multiple awards for product and design excellence. In addition, Tory has small business experience as the founder and creator of GO-20, a company that developed games for families with young children. Tory has a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from Swarthmore College and studied for two years at the School of Visual Arts in New York. She lives with her husband, two children, and her always entertaining basset hound, Herbie.

With a career path that includes tenures at such corporations as Liberty Mutual, Irving Oil, and Microsoft, Melanie came to Beyond Indigo in 2011 to develop and expand our burgeoning social media offerings. As a native of the Digital Era, she has over a decade of experience in the space and excels at "bridging the digital divide" for clients. She is keenly interested in digital photography, Facebook, Twitter, video, blogging, web design, and whatever is coming next. A leader in the social media realm, she's an organizer for the NH Social Media Breakfast program, regularly attends digital media conferences and seminars, and earned a Certificate in Advanced Social Media from the University of San Francisco. She lives in historic and picturesque Portsmouth, New Hampshire, with her husband, two kids, and two dogs -- Mr. Bojangles and Phoebe.
