Equine launch

After years of providing fantastic sites and services to vets specializing in small mammals and exotics, Beyond Indigo is pleased to announce our next great initiative: our equine division! To best serve those in the equine industry, we combined the experience of our award-winning design and writing teams with the know-how of experts in the industry. This amazing combination will provide astounding sites and services that drive traffic and increase profits.

Since our inception, we have never used templates for the sites we design. Every single site is totally customized. The same is true for our equine sites. Not only is the concept original, every site will be customized, with a unique navigation and personalized tools and features.

Along with new design ideas and tools tailored to the equine industry, our equine sites will feature resources to serve the equine industry that veterinarians can’t find anywhere else. Our award-winning writers have years of experience in many areas of the equestrian industry, including psychology, training, motivation, nutrition, and medicine. Together, these talented writers have compiled a library of extremely useful articles that will be available for your clients.

Our Writers

Moira C. Harris is an award-winning editor and book author. She served as the longest running editor for Horse Illustrated magazine, and, under her decade of leadership, it became the nation’s largest equine publication (209,000 readers monthly) and garnered several prestigious recognitions from organizations such as the United States Equestrian Federation, American Horse Publications, The American Quarter Horse Association, and the Bureau of Land Management for her work in supporting the American Mustang.

Sharon Biggs is an award-winning writer who has written for The Horse, The Blood Horse, Veterinary Practice News, Horse Illustrated, USDF Connection, Horses USA and Dressage Today. In the United Kingdom, she wrote for Horse magazine and Horse and Hound online.

Lisa Kemp is an award-winning writer and communications advisor for the equine industry. Lisa has written horse health articles on topics ranging from parasite resistance and the new deworming protocols to the complexities of the equine thyroid.

Amber Heintzberger has been an equestrian freelance journalist since 1997. Amber covers all aspects of the horse industry, with a special interest in three-day eventing and dressage.

Kathleen (Kass) Lockhart holds a doctorate in psychology with a specialty in training and motivation. After several years teaching at Western Michigan University and Auburn University at Montgomery, she conducted training research for the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps, and then began consulting on training issues for Denver Research Institute.

Cindy Hale is an accomplished horsewoman. She had a successful career in the show ring, winning numerous hunt seat equitation medals and hunter championships. With her family, she bred and raised warmblood sport horses.

Making It All Easier

Sometimes, it seems that the only thing more valuable than money is time. We are all looking for ways to save time and hassle, and we’re looking for ways to extend these savings to our clients as well. Fillable forms are the answer to issues of too little time and too much hassle.

Beyond Indigo has implemented a new series of online forms designed especially for veterinary websites. Your clients need only go to your site, enter their information, and all the content of the form is emailed right away to a contact person in your office. The information is also added to your database and is available for online viewing or download from your site's administration panel. We offer a standard package of forms for new clients, boarding information and general requests. These can be customized to meet your clinic's needs. Our forms can also be used for surveys, prescription refills, pet information forms, or any online data collection your practice requires.

For your clients, it can mean that they don't need to try to fill out a form while wrangling a sick pet. Online forms are quick, convenient and available 24 hours per day.
