Your Domain

According to Merriam Webster, the word domain means: "the territory governed by a single ruler or government." Do you rule over your domain name? Perhaps someone took over or acquired your domain name without you knowing anything about it. Perhaps you didn't register the domain name when you first got it. Either way, not being the official registrant of your domain can cause outrageous problems including not being able to house your site on that domain name! Make sure it's yours!

Here's what you need to do:

• Find out if you own your domain name.
• To do this: go to who.godaddy.com
• Search for your domain name.
• Make sure that you are the REGISTRANT of the domain name. If you are the registrant, congrats! You're done and you're safe.

If you are not the registrant, you do not own the domain name. Contact that person or company right away who is listed as the registrant. Ask them if they will give it back to you. If so, do this immediately and get the registration in your name.

Social Networking

There is no overestimating the prominence of social media and social networking on the internet. MySpace, Twitter... the list goes on... have become regular features of daily lives for millions and millions of people all over the world. Businesses have caught on and use Facebook and Twitter as effective and easy marketing tools.

If your clinic doesn't have a Facebook page and/or a Twitter account, please check with our customer service department to see about setting your clinic up with these fabulous pages (charges may apply). We have packages available to you that will help you make the most out of these social mediums.
