Travel tends to play a big part in this holiday, as does food and family. And even though this holiday is just a few weeks away, veterinary practices still have time to help alleviate some of that stress by offering up tips and tricks to help current and future pet parents navigate this holiday with success.&nbsp;<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are a few ideas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Blog posts on \u201c<em>Pet-Friendly Thanksgiving Foods for Fido<\/em>,\u201d \u201c<em>Preparing the House for Family Members Who Don\u2019t \u2018Get\u2019 Pets<\/em>,\u201d \u201c<em>Traveling to Grandma\u2019s House with Your Pet<\/em>,\u201d and \u201c<em>Boarding Your Pet for the Holidays \u2013 What You Need to Know.<\/em>\u201d<\/li><li>Facebook posts and boosts should be made to promote these blog posts, as well as your boarding, microchipping, and vaccination services.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Hold Thanksgiving themed contests on Facebook, a \u201c<em>Dress Your Pet Like a Turkey<\/em>\u201d costume contest is always fun, as are contests for the best pet treat recipe.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Post on Facebook with single to-do tips to prepare for the holidays like, at the beginning of the month, \u201cHave you Made Your Thanksgiving Boarding Appointment Yet?\u201d Or, remind people to order their pet meds early and not wait until 5 p.m. on Wednesday.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Update your Google My Business page with holiday hours and \u201cnotecards\u201d that link to a new blog post each week.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Right on the heels of Thanksgiving come Hanukkah and Christmas. In fact, now is the time to start talking about boarding for the December and New Year\u2019s holidays!<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ideas for Christmas and Hanukkah&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Ah, the joys of the December holidays, with lighted candles, sparkling gifts, and food-laden tables.
