Beyond Indigo Pets Client Case Study: 337% Increased Conversions

At Beyond Indigo Pets, we have the privilege of consistently seeing impressive results from our marketing efforts for our clients. One of our clients, who offers regular veterinary care in addition to urgent care, boarding, and grooming services, was struggling to fill appointments for their general practice. With the help of our expert marketing strategies, they were able to enjoy a 337% increase in conversions.

The Challenge

While this client was doing great when it came to urgent care, boarding, daycare, and grooming appointments, they were struggling to have a consistent schedule for the general practice and wellness appointments. They were lacking leads, and had trouble scheduling appointments in advance. They came to us with some specific goals:

  • Drive new leads specifically for general practice and wellness appointments.
  • Increase advance bookings to consistently fill appointments two or more weeks in advance.

Our Solution

When it came to this client, we felt that a multi-faceted approach was the best way to achieve their goals. This included:

  • A New Website Design: We started by creating a new website design that would attract local pet owners looking for general veterinary services. We created an attractive, SEO and mobile-optimized user-friendly website that highlighted their general practice services.
  • Local SEO: We focused heavily on improving this client’s local SEO efforts, which included optimizing their Google Business Profile to increase visibility in local search results. This, in addition to the new website, made it even easier for pet owners to find the practice, and to book appointments for general veterinary care.
  • Keyword Optimization: We spent a lot of time doing extensive keyword research for this client to build an effective keyword optimization strategy. Once we had this, we implemented on-site SEO strategies to optimize over 70 key search terms focusing on wellness exams, and general practice veterinary services. These efforts boosted their organic search rankings significantly, and catapulted them onto the first page for many highly-relevant keywords.
  • Paid Google Advertising: Our marketing team launched a pay-per-click campaign on Google ads that targeted general practice and wellness services. This included focusing the budget on wellness exams and general practice keywords, segmenting the targeting into different service groups to really refine the messaging, and limiting the ad campaign to the local geographic area to only target potential clients. We also directed this ad traffic to landing pages that were specifically designed to encourage conversions.

The Results

This successful marketing strategy effectively achieved the client’s goals and then some. In fact, our efforts:

  • Captured more than 80 phone call leads in just one month.
  • Received 83 conversions from phone call leads.
  • Obtained a whopping 337% increase in conversions for the client.
  • Reduced the client’s cost per click by 42%.
  • Reduced their cost per conversion by 74%.
  • Achieved a 123% increase in conversion rate.
  • Optimized keywords to see more than 70 relevant terms on the first page of search results.
